Southwest Sexual Health Alliance

We are pleased to introduce the Southwest Sexual Health Alliance based in Austin, Texas. Heather M McPherson LPC-S, LMFT and the Texas Section Leader for AASECT and Dylan Davies LMFTA launched the organization this past summer in efforts to provide provocative dialog and radical collaboration around sexual health issues. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities in sexual health to students, psychologists, physicians, social workers, educators,  therapists and sexual health professionals. We recognize that general therapists and medical professionals receive little to no education in sexuality in graduate training programs and it is a significant ethical issue. We are also an organizational one provider for AASECT and offer CEUs toward certification and renewal.

Our events and programming are intended to build community, spark dialogue and encourage collaboration. We're dedicated to bringing the brightest minds and biggest game changers in sexual health to Texas and online through eLearning.
