Gina Ogden, PhD, LMFT, is a certified therapist and supervisor, and founder of the Relational Sexuality Network. She is author of 10 books on desire, intimacy, and more, and is recipient of both the AASECT professional excellence award and the AASECT book award. Brief Description and Learning Objective: Using the four dimensional Wheel of Sexual Experience, the research that informs it, and how she uses it as a training model, participants will be able to, by the end of the session, describe four distinct dimensions that inform both sexual experience and the practice of sex therapy.
The Eastern Region Section of AASECT consists of a highly committed group of sexuality educators, counselors and therapists. This year, we will come together from all over the northeast part of the region for networking, education and professional development for the First Annual AASECT Northeast Region Meet and Greet Education and Networking Program.
The events are held in Northampton, MA on May, Sept, and November from 11am to 1:30pm. There is a formal presentation at each meeting featuring outstanding educators, clinicians and authors from across the region. The workshops are from 11 am – 12 noon with an interactive working lunch from 12 noon -- 1:30 pm. All workshops are held in a beautiful private room at the historic Hotel Northampton.
This year’s national conference is June 8-12, 2016 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. If you have never been to one of AASECT’s national conferences, this would be a wonderful event to attend. To register for the national conference simply go to: http://www.aasectconference.org/.
Our AASECT events are for members only and the workshops are a privilege of membership. Non-members are invited to attend one event before joining AASECT. The workshops in 2016 are complimentary. The cost of lunch is $35 for a wonderful three-course meal. Parking is free.
