Financial support for your AASECT Membership

AASECT recognizes the extreme personal and financial toll that the COVID-19 pandemic has taken on its membership.

The AASECT Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee have been working together to establish some limited financial assistance for membership dues.

This benefit is made possible by the Economic Equity Fund within AASECT and is designed to aid members who have been severely financially impacted by COVID-19. This is also an attempt to make AASECT more financially accessible while maintaining and promoting an economically diverse membership, as consistent with the new strategic plan.

Twenty-five (25) membership scholarships of up to $220 will be offered to members who indicate they are experiencing financial difficulties renewing their AASECT membership as a direct result of their income being impacted by the current pandemic.

To apply:

• Write a very brief statement (no more than two paragraphs) about your work and how you qualify for this financial assistance
• Discuss any marginalized identities or communities you represent, if applicable
