COVID-19: Update
Dear AASECT Colleagues,
The health and safety of our professional community is of the utmost importance to AASECT.
In response to an increase in the reported cases of COVID-19, the AASECT Board of Directors is meeting on Friday, March 13th to discuss how best to support our AASECT Approved CE Providers and their attendees as well as assess any risk to the upcoming AASECT Annual Conference taking place in Palm Springs, CA in June.
At this time, the AASECT Annual Conference is scheduled to take place as planned, and we are taking the necessary steps to provide a safe experience for our guests. Our leadership and staff are continually monitoring the situation as it unfolds and will keep you updated along the way.
As concerns over the spread of the COVID-19 virus grow, we encourage everyone to be cautious but not to panic. With accurate information from reliable sources, as well as good health and hygiene practices, we will get through this together.
Meanwhile, let’s all wash our hands, stay 6 feet away from each other, eat well, and get enough rest.
